Where the money goes

The team takes only two splits, both hard-coded in the contracts: 20% of token trading fees and 25% of fence fees. No presale, no team tokens, no whitelist. The contracts that hold money have no admin, no pause and no upgrades.

Where the money comes from and where it goes

Money comes from two places

1. Token trades

On every buy and sell of the token, the ranch receives about 2.7%: our 2% tax (same for buys and sells, fixed at launch, can't be changed) plus the creator's share of the Pons platform fee (about 0.7%). It arrives in USDG at a splitter contract with no admin. Anyone can press "distribute", and it pays out by fixed shares:

Goes toShare
Harvest pool70%
Team multisig20%
Ops pool10%

Whoever presses "distribute" gets a small bounty (0.2%, capped) first.

2. Bets in the fences

  • Official fences take 5% from the losing side only. Winners get their own stake back first.
  • Planks (listings) take 3% of the ticket.
Goes toShareNotes
Harvest pool50%
Fence opener10%For official fences this goes to the Harvest pool too, so today the pool gets 60%
Team multisig25%For a referred player's first 90 days, 1/5 of this goes to the referrer (the team keeps 20%)
Ops pool10%
Settlement bounty5%Paid to whoever presses settle, so fences always get settled

Spent in the game: burned

Dusk Auction payments, a 2nd+ pasture change in the same week, opening fences, the Board, naming: every $SRANCH spent is burned. Nobody receives it, including us.

Where each share goes

DestinationUsed for
Harvest poolReleases 1/8 of its balance each week to fed bulls and bears by their breed's ranking. Unfed shares stay for next week. How it works
Team multisigDevelopment, audits, servers, operations. A multisig: at least 2 people must sign
Ops poolGas sponsorship, free tickets, weekly prizes. On-chain and visible; unused funds roll over. It can never top up the Harvest pool (subsidies stay separate and visible)
Settlement bountyWhoever presses settle. Bounties our own keeper collects are moved to the ops pool

How much the team gets

ScenarioRanch receivesTeam gets
$1M of token volume in a day≈ $27,000≈ $5,400 (≈ 0.54% of volume)
$100k bet in official fences in a day (about half on the losing side)fee ≈ $2,500≈ $500–625

That is all of the team's income. The team holds no tokens, so the token price has nothing to do with the team's money. The contracts take no royalties when bulls and bears change hands.

What we don't do

  • No presale, no team tokens, no whitelist, no retroactive airdrop. Anyone offering one is a scammer.
  • No buybacks. Fees never flow back into the token.
  • No subsidies mixed into Harvest. Any cold-start subsidy gets its own pool, shown separately, with a cap and a countdown.
  • No mid-season changes. Splits are fixed in each season's contracts. Changes wait for the next season and are announced in advance.

What you have to trust

Token trading fees depend on Pons. Pons's owner can propose moving the fee recipient, effective after 3 days. We watch for that event and would pin it on the website and announce it everywhere. Anyone can press "distribute", so money doesn't sit in the splitter for long.

This only affects token trading fees. Fence fees, money already in the Harvest pool, bulls and bears, and the auction are not affected.
